| Dr. Rusty Kjos

Dr. Rusty Kjos grew up in Kenmare, North Dakota graduating from Kenmare High School in 2004. He attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, where he obtained his BS degree in 2009. He graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary studies: Health Sciences. Dr. Kjos then attended the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon where he received a BS degree in Human Biology in addition to his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree in September of 2012. In the fall, of 2010 Dr. Kjos received training in Graston Technique. Graston Technique is a deep soft tissue technique used to break up scar tissue and fascia restrictions to treat a number of conditions. He has also taken courses in Kinesiology Therapeutic Taping. Kinesio Taping is used for reduction of edema, muscle facilitation/inhibition, decreased pain, and improved joint range of motion. Dr. Kjos currently holds active licenses in the states of North Dakota and Oregon. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Oregon Chiropractic Association, and North Dakota Chiropractic Association.
